Northwest Commission Grant Opportunities

Each year, the Northwest Commission works collaboratively through various funding sources that allow for the infrastructure development of large projects that will create jobs, attract businesses, and foster education and workforce development.    The ARC and EDA grants contribute toward this grant initiative.

• Economic Development Administration (EDA)

The Pennsylvania GAP is administered by the Pennsylvania Office of International Business Development (OIBD) and provides up to $10,000 per award period to eligible Pennsylvania companies to reimburse up to 75% of qualifying expenses associated with specific export promotion activities.  This program is funded in part through a grant with U.S. Small Business Administration.

• Global Access Program (GAP) Funding

The Northwest Commission serves as the lead agency for the NW GBG Program for organizations throughout the 8-county region.  This mini-grant program provides opportunities for smaller scoped projects that advance recreation, conservation and heritage initiatives.
